Terms and Conditions for Referral Program

Thank you for your interest in the RISE Renovations Referral Program. These terms and conditions outline the rules, eligibility requirements, and obligations associated with participation. By participating, you agree to these terms in full.
1. Eligibility
1.1. The referral program is open to individuals aged 18 or older who are legal residents of the United States.
1.2. Participants must not be employees, contractors, or agents of RISE Renovations, nor their immediate family members or household residents.
1.3. Participation is void where prohibited by law.
2. Definitions
2.1. Referrer: An eligible individual who refers a potential client to RISE Renovations.
2.2. Referral: A potential client introduced to RISE Renovations by a Referrer.
2.3. Referred Client: A potential client referred to RISE Renovations who meets the criteria in Section 4.
3. How to Participate
3.1. Referrers must submit referrals through an approved method, including:

In-person communication with a RISE Renovations representative.
3.2. The Referrer must provide accurate contact information for both themselves and the Referred Client, including full names, phone numbers, and email addresses.
3.3. Referrals must be submitted before the Referred Client initiates contact with RISE Renovations.
4. Criteria for a Valid Referral
4.1. A referral is considered valid only if the following conditions are met:
The Referred Client has no prior business relationship or ongoing communication with RISE Renovations.
The Referred Client signs a contract with a project value of at least $2,500.
The Referred Client fulfills all payment obligations as outlined in their signed contract.
4.2. The Referred Client must acknowledge the Referrer’s involvement when signing the contract.
5. Referral Rewards
5.1. Reward Amount:
Referrers will receive $100 cash for completed projects between $2,500 and $10,000.
Referrers will receive 2% commission via check on completed projects between $10,000 and $30,000.
Referrers will receive 2% commission via check on completed projects of $30,000 or more.
5.2. Reward Timing: Rewards will be distributed within 30 days of the Referred Client’s project completion and after the final payment is received by RISE Renovations.
5.3. Reward Limits:
A single Referrer may earn up to $5,000 in rewards for referrals per calendar year.
Multiple Referrers will not be rewarded for the same Referred Client. In case of duplicate referrals, the reward will go to the first valid submission.
6. Exclusions and Restrictions
6.1. Self-referrals or referrals of immediate family members, including spouses, siblings, or children, are not eligible for rewards.
6.2. Referrals made after the Referred Client has already contacted RISE Renovations are ineligible.
6.3. Rewards cannot be transferred, assigned, or redeemed for cash unless explicitly stated otherwise.
6.4. Referrers must not engage in spamming, misleading claims, or unethical behavior to promote referrals.
7. Tax Implications
7.1. Referral rewards may be subject to federal, state, and local taxes. Participants are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes associated with rewards.
7.2. RISE Renovations may issue a Form 1099-MISC to participants who receive rewards exceeding $600 in a calendar year, as required by U.S. tax law.
8. Program Modifications and Termination
8.1. RISE Renovations reserves the right to:
Modify the program terms, including reward structures, at any time without prior notice.
Suspend or terminate the program entirely.
8.2. Modifications or termination will not affect rewards earned for referrals submitted and validated before the effective date of the change.
9. Privacy and Confidentiality
9.1. Referrers must not disclose sensitive or personal information about Referred Clients without their explicit consent.
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1. Any disputes arising from this program will be governed by the laws of the state of Rhode Island, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
10.2. Disputes must first be submitted in writing to RISE Renovations. If unresolved, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration.
11. General Terms
11.1. Participation in this program constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
11.2. RISE Renovations reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms or engages in fraudulent behavior.
11.3. These terms constitute the entire agreement between participants and RISE Renovations regarding the referral program.
